Viewers can now catch up with the Season 1 recap of the Nigeria House of Commons TV show on Trust TV, the broadcast arm of Media Trust Limited.

In a major development, Africana League has entered into a strategic partnership with Isu Media Ltd to produce and launch Season 2 of its flagship youth civic reality programme, now rebranded as Nigeria Actizens Parliament (NAP).
Under the partnership, Africana League will continue to drive the programme’s vision and civic engagement strategy, while Isu Media Ltd will serve as the production and implementing partner, bringing its expertise in media production and digital storytelling to deliver a nationwide broadcast.
Nigeria Actizens Parliament (NAP) is an experiential civic leadership platform designed to immerse young Nigerians in simulated parliamentary processes. Participants engage in debates, motions, policy negotiations, and voting exercises that mirror real democratic governance.
Following a successful inaugural season, the rebranded NAP signals a deeper commitment to civic education, youth leadership, and inclusive governance.
Season 2 will feature participants representing all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, organised into simulated political parties to tackle legislative tasks and governance challenges reflective of real-world democratic systems.
The programme will run as a 13-episode digital reality series, streamed online and aired on terrestrial television, with a target audience of millions of young Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora.
Speaking on the initiative, Executive Director of Africana League, Glory Ukwenga, described the platform as a bridge between youth and governance, empowering young citizens to actively shape Nigeria’s democratic future.

Chief Executive Officer of Isu Media Ltd, Odoh Okenyodo, noted that the partnership will harness the power of media to drive civic awareness while delivering engaging, youth-focused content across the country.
Winners of the competition will receive a ₦15 million prize package aimed at supporting political engagement and community impact, including campaign support funds and financing for development projects.

The programme is designed to ensure inclusivity, with strong representation from women, persons with disabilities, and youths from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
Beyond the televised series, the initiative will also roll out public engagement campaigns, youth dialogue forums, and digital civic education programmes in the lead-up to Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
Registration details, broadcast schedules, and participation guidelines will be announced in the coming weeks.
