The United Nations Security Council has adopted a resolution addressing the escalating crisis in the Middle East, in a move led by Bahrain.
The resolution received broad backing during the vote, with 13 member states supporting the measure and none voting against it.
However, two permanent members of the council — China and Russia — abstained from the vote.
The decision reflects growing international concern over the worsening situation in the Middle East, as the council seeks diplomatic measures to address the crisis.
